      Both the container and the liquid will expand.

      the temperature of the liquid will increase, thus the kinetic energy also increases. causing the gas molecules to collide among them and the container

    3. Both answer are correct..when T increases,its gain kinetic energy of container(solid) & liquid will cause some expansion in their dimension..in other words expansion occurs for both CONTAINER & LIQUID๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜

    First, by calculate the volume of container and volume of liquid. The liquid will overflow if the volume of liquid is more than volume of container.

    Calculate both volumes for liquid and the container and compare the values obtained.if volume of liquid is greater than container after expansion, liquid flows out of the container and vice versa.

    calculate the volume for liquid and for container, if the volume of liquid more than volume of container, so the liquid will flow out from the container. is it also depends on temperature madam?

      Calculate the final expansion in volume of the container and also the liquid.Then minus both to obtain the amount of overflow.

      Linear expansion occurs because the thickness of the thin sheet of copper is too small to calculate when change in length of the sheet can be observed and calculated.

  25. Good try kevin(Tan)..exactly natasya๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ‘..'thin sheet'means in 2 dimension(thin-do not consider thickness).if the thin sheet was heated,so it expanded in 2 dimension(2x linear expansion).therefore area expansion was occurs๐Ÿ˜ƒ

      Linear expansion occur because thin wire is in one dimension. When it is heated, it will elongate in one dimention.

    The keyword is the question ask us to calculate the temperature when the wire reach steady states,so when the wire reach steady states, we know that the rate of heat flow for both rods is the same.
